Train Directions (UTA Trax)
This is part 1 of 2 for a directions exercise. I am currently teaching directions to JHS students and we are working with real life maps from Salt Lake City. We are using SLC because the city has easy street names and road layouts. It also has a very simple train line that makes doing worksheets like this simple. But itīs a real life place, which puts some reality into the conversations.
The students need to ask for directions to the places listed in the bottom right. The first (Megaplex Movies) is an example and it is missing on both worksheets (94th South). This is for the teacher or teacher to give to the students before they start as an example and to check understanding.
The others are on the second part. Students will need to ask their partner with part 2 to get the answers.
You may use whatever dialouge you wish.
P.S. Sorry to split this up into 2 worksheets, but it was the only way I could make it fit!
Hope you enjoy! :D
