What Do You Do? Conversation Game with Snowflake Layout worksheet
What Do You Do? Conversation Game with Snowflake Layout
Here is my Snowflake conversation game. Many thanks to Morav for suggesting a snowflake layout! You will need a die and tokens to play this game. Students start on the bottom and work their way around the snowflake. I have added some arrows to make the path a bit easier to follow. There are about 59 spaces on the board.
Each student will roll a die and land on a question. Students must answer questions in complete sentences with more or less words, depending on their level (s).
Page 2 of this document gives some examples of adverbs and prepositional phrases. Students may need a few tips to improve their sentences. Show them page 2 or use it as a reference card for yourself during the game.
Page 3 contains a simple matching activity. You will notice that I drew the snowflakes myself. If you ungroup the snowflakes on that page you can create more activities to match this one.
Have fun!
