first students can listen to the australian version, with pictures of possible unknown vocabulary, such as sheep, verandah, Vegemite, a Hills hoist clothesline, etc. and complete missing vocabulary. then they can complete the other side with words to describe their own homes. hang up around the room for students to share. you can tell them they must choose a description, not their own that they like. tell the class what they like about it.
