We teach feelings vocab in 5th- 6th grades in Israel. This is a template you can copy for your pupils. (It can be adapted to other word…). It contains the empty 25 rubrics for the bingo game. The vocabulary consists of basic 9 words that describe feelings such as: Tired, scared, angry, excited, bored, embarrassed, disappointed, surprised, and lonely. The pupils should embed in the 24 empty rubrics (the middle one with the drawing is the Joker) 24 items- the items can be the English words, the Hebrew words (or other native language) or the expressions drawings. (They can wither draw the expressions or they can cut them from the table attached to the chart. They can cut and paste the drawings in their own personal chart. The teacher announces a word (or shows a flash card of it for a more difficult level) or shows a picture card of an expression -and the pupils mark it in their Bingo chart. The winner is the first to mark 5 rubrics horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Teacher should prepare his expressions drawings in a bigger format in advance! BINGO! Enjoy it! Hagit Lahav,Israel.
