HOPE FOR HAITI NOW: the concert
VIDEO ACTIVITY. This is an activity about the concert organized by George Clooney in order to get money for Haiti after the earthquake. The aim is to make them aware of the tragedy and the importance of helping.
It is based on the video in which the actor is interviewed about this event. Students read a short article about the concert, together with a transcript of the beginning of the interview. There are three acivities:
1- Listening: while watching the videostudents have to complete the beginning of the interview.
2- Comprehension questions
3- Vocabulary
A teacher´s worksheet is provided at the end. The link to the video is included.
