Reading Comprehension about 2 National Parks with focus on There is..., There are... Part 2/3.
This is a reading comprehension that I made for my students to help prepare them for their jump to the next textbook, which has a lot of activities like this. It is the first time for them really to do a proper reading comprehension, so I have kept the grammar very simple, though there is quite a lot of new vocabulary. This very loosely follows on from the nature board game with There is..., There are... that I uploaded previously, though of course can also be used independently. Sorry it is in 3 parts. I got the images down as small as I could, but still too big to upload as one or even two documents. Most of the information and pictures are taken from the parks´ official sites. I´ve never visited either so if you notice any misrepresented facts, please do let me know. Thanks. By the way, for the first time ever I downloaded some fancy fonts, and although they do not show up in the preview they are fine when you download (I think). Have a great week.
