I wrote this story , which is a true story, to get the children to distinguish the 2 forms of the past. This really happened to some pupils in the class and I didnī say anything beforehand.... I first read them the story and then they have to complete it by writing the verbs in the correct tense : past simple or past continuous. Second version of an old ws I have deleted.
