I made this short conversation between an arrested private detective and a police officer to introduce the CRIME topic to my elementary pupils. My ideas are these: 1. pupils read the text and guess the meanings of the underlined words 2. act it out 3. rewrite the text without looking at the original dialogue 4. put a new character in the interview
