Culture Based Lesson on New Zealand
Although the purpose of this lesson was for a home stay trip to New Zealand, this lesson can be used simply as a culture based lesson, specifically on New Zealand.
It can be cut in half or all four pages can be used.
This New Zealand culture based lesson was for my Junior High school students here in Japan. Each year, the J3 (Grade 9 in the UK and Australia) students go on a home stay trip to New Zealand. This lesson tests and also introduces cultural aspects that ESL students may not be familiar with.
In addition, a conversation about someone´s trip is also accompanied by a do-it-yourself template for ESL students to make their own conversation about their trip.
