What is the real world like? What is the real world like?

This is a speaking/role-play activity for advanced level students who want to apply their language learning in the real life. There are nine real life situations each requiring two people to carry out the lesson. The teacher first divides the students into pairs and asks them to pick a card. The students get some preparation/research time. Then they have to present their conversation in front of the class. The teacher can pre-teach any vocabulary if needed.
