Holes Lyrics - Gap Filling Exercise

Louis Sachar´s Holes is a popular class reader. I have used it together with the Disney tie-in movie and there are a number of catchy tunes in it. I have developed this exercise to help my students understand how the songs connect with the story. How to use the worksheets: 1. Get the video clips of the songs from Youtube and play it to the students. 2. Ask students to fill in the gaps while listening. 3. Check the answers with the students and show the songs as in the movie to the students. The time of the songs in movie is marked in brackets on the worksheet. 4. Discuss with the studnets how the song is connected with the plot. Hope you find it useful! Enjoy!
