Yes I do
This worksheet is based on lesson 1 from our Middle School grade 1 book. It focuses on the answer structure of ´Yes I am´ and ´No I am not.´
The idea is the same as the popular ´Have you ever´ worksheet.
Students mingle through the classroom asking their peers the questions on the sheet. They write down the classmate´s name based on their response. I also use this as an introduction lesson so I have the students follow this pattern:
Hello. My name is Park Sun Yi. It is nice to meet you.
Hi. I am Kim Yeoung Soo. It is nice to meet you too.
Can you tell me, do you like.......?
Yes I do. What about you? Do you like........?
I usually pick a sentence and answer at random at the end of the activity and give a prize to the student who has the most names in that box.
