We have an unit about the 5 senses. I considered it was important to talk about those people who don´t have the same advantages: blind and deaf. I surfed the internet and found out about the special dogs that help the blind and the deaf. I chose the most important facts from some of them and adapted the vocabulary and the text for them. I think I did a good job because kids really love working this reading. They find it interesting and have the perfect combination for them: animals and people.
