War Toys
It is best to give the students all the missing words (not in chronological order)before giving them the worksheet. Then give each student the War Toys worksheet. ask them to fill in the blanks using the words given. It is VERY tricky, but...students are allowed to ask questions. For e.g. In line 2, could the 1st word be "war?" teacher could only answer with a YES or NO. Students have to structure questions correctly (for older level) to make it more challenging. If a question is not asked correctly, teacher remain quiet. The first person to fill in all the blanks CORRECTLY wins! After that, ask a volunteer to read this pledge with passion & expression. works well for their pronunciation. Good Luck!!!
