Journal Writing Page
I developed this worksheet as a way to encourage independent writing from my beginner ESL students. By providing a visual support, they are able to identify activities they do each day before writing sentences about them. For more capable students, or over time, this worksheet can be easily modified to remove visual support. I would also encourage more capable students to write in paragraphs.
