song "I DONīT WANNA MISS A THING"by Aerosmith
My students have asked me to prepare this song for them.And I found it interesting to do a different activity. I gave each of them a copy of the blank song and they sat in groups and read the definitions which are in brackets. I told them that it was a competition and that they will have 15 minutes to guess the missing words. Some of them needed a dictionary too. After 15 minutes I said: Time is up and we compared correct answers.Winning team got 10 and the others less. Then we listened to the song, they were still sitting in groups, I played it twice. After that time we compared answers againg and gave points. I added both scores and winners won lollipops.
Hope you like it, it worked with my students and they had lots of fun!
