THIS WRTING SAMPLE AND FOLLOW UP TASKS WERE VERY USEFUL TO ME WHEN TEACHING HOW TO WRITE STORY AND BOOK REPORTS TO 4TH GRADERS AT A BILINGUAL SCHOOL. IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO ASK STUDENTS TO WRITE REPORTS FROM SCRATCH; STILL WHEN THEY HELPED THEMSELVES WITH A SAMPLE RESULTS TURNED OUT TO BE EXCELLENT! :-) THE STORIES FROM THE EXERCISES ARE TAKEN FROM OXFORDŽS HAPPY EARTH 2. YOU CAN ACTUALLY CHANGE EVERYTHING WHICH NEEDS TO BE VARIED GIVEN THE STORIES YOU ARE USING IN CLASS. I DO HOPE THESE ACTIVITIES ARE AS EFFECTIVE AND CHALLENGING AS THEY WERE TO MY STUDENTS AND ME. :-)
