I´ve had fun with this in the past few years. I give my pupils the name tags and, while I´m reading, have them make a family tree with the tags. My pupils have always enjoyed this. Of course, you can also use this as a reading exercise and have them draw a family tree. On top of having fun, they also practise the genitive.
