Beginner Level - Matching Exercise - WH Questions and Answers
This is an exercise I use after teaching how to form questions in English and the appropriate use of the question words: Who, What, When, Where, Why, How etc. The students liked this exercise and it allows them to demonstrate their ability to understand the question words in a sentence and match it to a correct response. For increased interaction I have done this in pairs and used this sheet to create new questions and scenarios that I review orally with the students as they progress.
