I hope you´ll like this worksheet. It can be used in 2 ways. First, you can use page 1 as a handout contrasting the signal words and uses of present perfect and past. Second, you can handout page 2 in combination with page 3 so that students need to match the rules of page 3 with the examples on page 2. I used the second method in my class and it worked really well, because students really had to think about the meaning of the rules. COncerning the signal words it also worked well because my students had already read many signal words in their textbooks. Try it and have fun! Either way!
