Writing an Essay Writing an Essay

This is a step-by-step guide to writing an essay. I use it with my previous "How to Write an Essay" worksheet. There are 3 titles for the students to choose from. The topics have been discussed in the past in conversation class so students are familiar with the topics. We talk about each topic before writing to refresh memories and to help with vocabulary. We tend to complete one essay in class which is then checked. For homework, they choose another of the topics and write an essay about it.
