Hi, I was tempted to call the postman "Mr Lisgo" because I was a postman a long time ago. "Laundromat" is American English so just tell your students the guy is in New York. "Faucet" is not a word which most British people know, but "tap" doesnīt fit in here. I am coming to the end of this series. I do have quite a few more stories, which only use the basic 26 alphabet sounds, but I donīt plan on uploading them at this time. As I said, the format has been changed. I had a very good reaction to this "comic" format from my friends and now I would like some feedback from other teachers. Notice the small picture on the top right hand side of the dialogues, this tells the teacher, and the students, what the target sound/spelling is. There is a free tutorial here: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=371922#thetop#, which will tell you more about comic dialogues.
