General "English" Knowledge Game Cards (part 1)
This is a game I call General "English" Knowledge (G.E.K.). Here are the instructions:
1. Each student throws the dice in turn, moving to the correct square, following the instructions in the squares (if there are any)
2. The student then reads the card given to them.
3. I confess I play around with the rules here. If a students answers incorrectly they can either miss a turn, go back to start or go back a square. Or I can do nothing if they lose. Each time I play the game, I change that rule a little.
4. Another thing I play around with is, if a student answers incorrectly, the next student has the chance to answer it. If they are right, they go forward 1 square. Or I give them 1 chip (see number 5)
5. Sometimes I give chips. If a student answers correctly they get 2 chips.
6. The winner is the first one to reach the end or/and who has the most chips.
I made the board so it is set on a blue background but I cannot for the life of me get it to print with the blue background. I hope you have more success with it than I have.
