Procedure - Prepare copies of gapped text A and gapped text B (opposite) - Sit the students facing each other in pairs - Give person A in each pair a version A sheet and person B a version B sheet. - Tell the student each has half the text. They should not try to look at each other’s sheets. - Then, student A dictates and B writes, then B dictates and A writes, and so on until the story is completed. - Finally, ask students to show each other their sheets to check for accuracy
