FMYLIFE reading and speaking for adults!
I wanted to spice up my pre-intermediate class a bit, so I decided to create a lesson based on the true stories told on www.fmylife.com. If you are not familiar with the website, at fmylife.com, people all around the world post the terrible things that just happened to them. The motto is "funny until it happens to you!"
Read the short stories together and talk about what happened. Ask your students to contribute one FML story. This lesson will help students recognize the simple past tense, expose them to English as it is spoken in real life, and surely bring the class to life with laughter!
