Based on the new movie "Alice in Wonderland", I created this worksheet to work on the story sequence through the video and explore vocabulary. So, I played the official video clip with sound and I asked the students to work in pairs/groups to write in English, if possible, or in their own language what Avril (representing Alice) is doing on the video sequence. Then, we read the sentences, checked meaning and understanding, then I played again without sound. They do complaint at first! But in order for them to concentrate on the actions and be able to remember them, they need to concentrate on the image. Play again, but with sound and let them enjoy it. Then, work on the lyrics and the clues given in the worksheet for them to figure it out. My teens loved this lesson. It was fun and productive.
