Personality Jeopardy
This is a Jeopardy game to teach words used to describe peoplesī personalities. The first page in the .doc has English definitions. The second page should be given to each group.
First, split the class into groups. Write point values on the board (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 next row> 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 next row>... etc.) The teacher starts with a one-point word, and reads the definition of that word. The first group to have ALL of their hands raised gets called on. If they get it right, they get 1 point and they get to choose what word difficulty (point level) they want. Also, when a word is guessed correctly, erase the point number from the board and write the word in the space so you know what words you have already done.
To make it more interesting, double the point values halfway through. They go crazy for this.
