Oral talk: Conversational English
This is an activity I have used with my ESL students. There are 2 parts included; the assessment criteria and the activity.
I give the students the oral talk to practice at home over the week. On Friday two students will stand in front of the class to give their talk, and then I give the students feedback using the assessment criteria.
The students gain confidence with using everyday conversational English, and by memorizing the words they are able to more easily recall the words at a later stage.
