Homeless - beggars
An article, working with words excercises, a song, describing picture, discussion. All in one, a completed lesson plan. I usually cut the three parts of the article and place it randomly at the class. Students have to look at the questions, remember them and then go to the pieces and find the information out. If they forget what the question was, they have to go back and read it again.
