Women in my life
Full lesson plan on the topic of "women". I have used it in lessons with adult students of intermediate level.
We start by listening to 3 songs about women, each with a different activity except the last one (thereīs a lot of information to grasp in the lyrics and I just ask the sts to listen and follow the lyrics underlining any difficult item of vocabulary).
After that, thereīs an article from The Guardian about equality. Then we tackle a grammar point, make vs. do (taken from the topic of housework).
Finally, thereīs a debate in two groups about whether sts think women and men are equal or not. very interesting debates arise.
