Good or Bad Friends
Have children read through each statement either individually or as a group. Discuss whether those friends would be good or bad friends. Discuss traits of good and bad friends (such as loyalty, trust, good listener, dependable, etc). Different questions are provided to below to provoke discussion or can be used as writing projects. Having children discuss what they look for in friends improves social skills. Children need to know what to look for in friends to understand how to act towards each other.
