On top of the grid they have time expressions and verbs in infinitive. On the side, they have pronouns. They have to form affirmative sentences using the past simple and using a time expression. Ex: I played tennis yesterday. To motivate the practice of the four skills, I name a captain in every team. Every time a team says a sentence bomb, the captain has to write it down on the blackboard and the rest of the students on their sentence bomb sheets. If the team fails in the spelling, then the attacked team can keep the right not to say it they hit or missed.
