Sherlock Holmes case XXVIII: Questions in the simple present tense
This is part 28 of my Sherlock Holmes series. It asks students to find out who stole a veteran car. The use of questions is quite natural for a detective! A grammar guide on question words and the formation of questions in the simple present tense (including to be, full and auxiliary verbs) is included, and so is the KEY to the case. For those who prefer "plain" versions, a printer friendly version of page 1 without background colours can be found on page 2.
