Hear and Say - Numbers and Days of the Week
Each student is given a vertical strip with columns of hear/say. The student who has the word ´Start´ says the word next to it. Another student will have that word in their ´hear´ column. If they hear it, they are to say the word in the corresponding ´say´ column. This continues until the last person has the word ´finish´. The purpose of this activity is to be able to recognise, distinguish and pronounce numbers (especially with the stress of the -teen and -ty numbers) and recognise short forms for days of the week.
