English worksheet: Funny and imprecise use of the word Funny and imprecise use of the word "class" - Dialogues and a blank fill

"I had class in that class last class". What does this sentence mean exactly? "I had a lesson in that classroom last period?" Perhaps. Who knows. As a language teacher and teacher trainer, I was tired of hearing the word "class" lazily bandied about by other educators to refer to anything from time (period), space (classroom), people (group), and conceptual matter(course). This worksheet explores some alternative and more precise synonyms of the word "class" to avoid confusion in the class... Or should I say, "classroom"? Yes, I should. :) This sheet was created for pre-service ESL teachers, but could be of use to advanced students of ESL as well.
