Drama: Create a sound effect play in the past tense
I developed this based on an activity found in a drama activity book for kids. I created this with university students, but since then have used it with a variety of age groups. It is a great great class that really gives confidence. Since the focus is on the sound effects, the students actually forget that they are speaking English. I hope it works well for you. I have included a full lesson plan but feel free to adapt and change it.
