Mysterious biographies
A writing activity first which is to be followed by a reading comprehension:
1)give each student a card and a blank piece of paper to write on. They must write a short biography using the given information.Tell them not to write the name of the mysterious person or animal if they have guessed who/what they are.
2)then collect their work and give them out randomly to the students who must read and guess who/what the biography is about.
You can help them by writing the names of the mysterious persons and animals on the board once the papers have been given out.
The keys are given. itīs really good fun, my students loved it!
