Debate: Bachelor/Bachelorette or Married Couple?
“Being a bachelor/bachelorette is better than being married.”
Do you agree or disagree?
Here is a prep-sheet for a class debate on whether the life of a bachelor/bachelorette or a married couple is better. First, students together list the pros and cons of the single life and a married life. (This will not only help prep them for the debate but furthermore encourage more thoughtful arguments.) Then split the class in two and have team 1 argue in favor of the statement and team 2 against it. Have fun debating about relationships!
