Star Signs Exercise
This is a great exercise for speaking, reading and good follow on exercises can be made for writing. It is also good for converstaion.
The first part is a short questionnaire for the students to fill out describing themselves. Before I hand this out I like to brainstorm personality adjectives.
The second part is the characteristics of Star Signs relating to the questionnaire so the students can see if they are accurate or not! Again, before I hand this out I like to explain what a star sign is, see which ones the students know, and how they determine horoscopes.
Great follow on exercise can be used for freer practise, whether it be to read an authentic text of the previous weeks horoscopes or for the students to write next weeks predictions!
