Peak Experiences
This is an interesting lesson that motivates students to practice their English conversation skills. After explaining the rationale, I have students draw a line on a pice of paper. At the beginning of the line they right birth, at the end, now. Students then have to write all the peak experiences that have molded them into who they are.
Usually I have students discuss these with partners or in groups their peak experience using the guided questions at the bottom in case they get stuck. Then after a certain amount of time you can debrief and ask individual students what their peak experience was and how it changed them.
As an added twist you can have one student describe another personīs peak experience and have others in the class guess who that student was.
