March 2010 Calendar Exercise
This worksheet uses a calendar to talk about dates and times. It is also good for practicing using a calendar or agenda (many of my students have trouble with this). There is a chart of cardinal and ordinal numbers to help students talk about they days of the month (i.e. English class starts on the 5th.) and some questions for students to fill out. I made this sheet for a beginning level class of adults, but it the discussion could probably go beyond just beginning levels. You could also have your students make appointments with each other to practice using the calendar as an agenda.
