Crime Snap 3 A
This is the third part of a multi-purpose set of cards related to crime & criminals. I have prepared cards with the definition of different kinds of crime. There are many options to use these cards; here go some of them: 1. Students work in pairs. The pile of cards is placed in front of them. They take it in turns to pick a card and say what crime is being described. If they are right, they keep the card. Then, his/her partner follows suit. The player with the higher number of cards at the end of game is the winner. 2. This is a variation of the well-known game Snap. Students work in pairs or in groups and these cards in combination with Crime Snap 2 cards (uploaded separately). Cards are placed face down on a table. Students take it in turns to turn 2 cards face up. If what they reveal when doing so is a crime and its definition, they keep the pair; if not they put back the cards face down and try to remember for the next round the position of these cards, taking into consideration the fact that this is a vocabulary game based on memory.
