Start with a lead-in about the music they unusally listen too and whether they understand the lyrics. Gap fill with the song playing (usually twice. Compare in groups. Correct with the whole class on the board. If there are words that nobody gets leave to the end and play the song again with these words isolated. Read through the song explain the meaning of the metaphors and phrases used. Finally split the class into groups to come up with back stories for each of the characters. Easily fills a 2-hour class.
