"Past Tense PostcardŽ An Adaptable Exercise - the postcard is on page 2 , the answer sheet is on page 1
If you are looking for an activity for a simple past tense review, using regular and irregular verbs, then this may help. On page 2 I created a postcard with a story that requires simple past tense fill-ins using both regular and irregular verb forms. Students can work in pairs or individually to complete the exercise. It concerns a trip to Barcelona but you could adapt it to either the city you teach in or one of your choice.
My students enjoyed it.
