Thief
This is a simple game to practice the form of "to + infinitive" to describe a purpose.
This worksheet and the cards are fully editable. I used characters that my students would know in Japan, so you may need to change them.
First, explain the story (written at the top of the worksheet).
Go over any new words in the cards. Make sure the students know the characters.
Practice reading the questions.
Give each student one card (page 2).
Make sure they can read their answers.
Have the students interview each other. They should write the hints and the information on their worksheet. Once they have collected information on all 8 characters, they should sit down and find the thief.
The thief is Mike.
