The Environment
This is a worksheet that tackles several areas in the English language. The first part is a warm-up designed for each student to answer individually questions about his/her own experiences; the second part is a reading section designed to get students to read out loud and practice their pronunciation, as well as learn new vocabulary; the discussion bit is meant to have small groups of student talking openly with each other and sharing their thoughts; finally, the debate part should have students preparing carefully thought-out arguments to support their views based on the topic at hand and facing each other to defend those views. With this material, the teacher acts as a facilitator to get students to talk and interact with each other.
