Long vowels: u
These worksheets are unique in that they combine a lot into one worksheet, starting with elementary pronunciation for the long vowel in focus, and then varying activities with an emphasis on reading and writing. The pronunciation is elementary, but the reading and writing are closer to intermediate level. Like the other Long Vowel worksheets Iīve made, this one includes a reading, this one a food blurb that is, again, my own personal writing with some tailoring for the student I am tutoring.
