Here is a variation of a guided writing exercise that I have used with my students. The task is to write 7 - 10 sentences using the vocabulary listed. Students must use at least 10 of those vocabulary words. It is structured in that there is a topic sentence and requirements to tell how the party/celebration was started, what happened there and how it ended. Teacher provides feedback after marking the paragraphs. Look for and encourage adjective use. I hope you find this a useful addition to your guided writing teaching material. Best to you all.
