Adjective + Noun Collocations with the word STRONG
I created this list using an online tool that builds lists of concordances and collocations. You can find it at http://www.collins.co.uk/Corpus/CorpusSearch.aspx. You can enter any part of speech you want and specify the type of word you want it to collocate with. It searches books, magazines, radio, and newspapers (US and UK), AND ranks the results by frequency of use. I find it very useful for teaching collocations. With this word (strong), I usually point out how many of the collocations concern communicating and human relations. Hope you find it useful! There´s an accompanying quiz at http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=440441#thetop
