Literal and Idiomatic Phrasal Verbs Mini books
Two mini-books to teach the difference between literal phrasal verbs and idiomatic phrasal verbs. Each book comes with a (very) brief explanation and then examples. Students have to illustrate the books to help them remember the new vocabulary. They´re very easy to edit for whichever phrasal verbs you´re teaching. I´ve used hand drawn versions of these for teenagers, but these particular books were for adults in summer school using Headway Pre-intermediate, hence the choice of lexis. They don´t look exciting because the student does all the work! DedicatedTeacher´s minibook template is once again incredibly useful so many thanks!
